Seven members of our church canvassed 21st and 22nd Streets between Vienna and Keefe Avenues on a quiet, cloudy Saturday, March 14th, 2026, completing the outreach in about 30 minutes. We spoke with a few residents who were either leaving or arriving. We pray that the Lord will bless the homes we visited and the Gospel message we left from 1 Corinthians 15:3-5.
The slideshow above shows the layout for Mae McMurtry's repast, which was held after her funeral service on March 14th, 2026. KKJV Bibles, “The Great Exchange” Bible tracts, and church information cards were distributed at the event. Note that the Bibles shown in the slideshow above were gone in about five minutes. Pastor Steinberg was kind enough to bring approximately 16 more New Testament Bibles, which were gone in 10 minutes. Perhaps, after celebrating the life of Mrs. Mae McMurtry, her friends and relatives were encouraged to learn more about the God she worshiped.
The Men’s Leadership Growth Group is a Bible study open to males from middle school age and up. It is designed for those who cannot attend Sunday Bible study but have expressed interest in joining a group. While it began with school-connected men, it is open to all, and those who initiated it are leading it.
